Wednesday 5th August:
Sadly our last day of camp. We began with our penultimate Minion Minyan, following with our last challenge activity, where we discussed different aspects of facing the community. We then moved onto our preparations for the evening’s talent show. Everyone was getting so creative.
We had lunch before the site clear up in preparation for our special guest... The Chief Rabbi Mervis. It was an amazing opportunity to hear him speak to us, as well as a chance to ask our questions and take a selfie or two.
After our visitor left, we had a feedback
session with just the participants and Rosh, so everyone could discuss the
aspects of camps they like and dislike. This helps us to ensure their input is
used to make Tribe camps even better in future.
We had our last dinner, and then were blown away
by the amazing talent displayed by everyone. The evening culminated in a
bonfire, where we all sang and shared our favourite camp moments. It was an
amazing way to end an incredible 10 days of camp!
